EVENT GOVERNANCE
Keep the history around what actually happened.
Events rarely begin and end with a single record. There was something before the event, and there will usually be decisions, actions and consequences afterwards.
Harvux keeps that history connected.
Request a briefingFROM POTENTIAL TO ACTUAL
When a risk becomes real, keep the connection.
A known Risk can be connected to the Event it materialised as, preserving the link between what the project anticipated and what actually occurred.
EVENT CONTEXT
Record more than the fact that something happened.
Harvux keeps the cause or trigger, impact, commercial context, actions, commentary and connected records around the Event.
CONTRACTUAL CONTEXT
Keep notification requirements connected to the Event.
Where the contract requires formal notification, Harvux can maintain the relevant notification requirements and their relationship to the Event.
The sequence and requirements depend on the contract. Harvux provides the governance around the record without pretending every contract operates the same way.
FOLLOW THROUGH
An Event should not become a record with no next action.
Actions remain connected to the Event so the project can see what needs to happen, who owns it and how the response progresses.
CAPTURE WHAT THE EVENT EXPOSED
The Event may finish. The learning should not.
If an Event exposes something worth capturing, an Observation can retain that experience and move it into the project's review process.
